Biscuit Day, Art Night Out and Outlaw Bingo!

The middle of September may mark summer’s end, but Northern Colorado fall fun is just getting started. From Broomfield Days and Erie Biscuit Day to Longmont Oktoberfest and Northglenn Pirate Fest, the season is packed with parades, festivals, and outdoor concerts. Add in art walks, birding, and family storytimes, and you’ve got the perfect way to welcome fall in Colorado’s golden season.

LAFAYETTE COSTUME EXCHANGE COLLECTION

Why buy when you can boo-cycle? From September 1–29, drop off gently used costumes at the Lafayette Library, Bob Burger Recreation Center, or Erie Community Center and give spooky season a sustainable twist. All costumes collected will be available at Lafayette Mini-Con on Saturday, October 4, where you can pick out a new-to-you look for free. Help reduce waste, save money, and keep the Halloween spirit alive in your community!

BROOMFIELD COSTUME SWAP COLLECTION

Clear out your closet and give Halloween a sustainable spin! From September 2–26, drop off gently used costumes for all ages at inventHQ or the Broomfield Library Reference Desk. Then, on Saturday, September 27, head to the Broadlands Room at inventHQ to browse the racks and swap for something “new-to-you.” It’s a free, fun way to save money, reduce waste, and refresh your spooky season style.

PALISADE PARK FESTIVAL & FARMERS MARKET

Lafayette’s signature summer block party is back — and it’s one of the most joyful, come-as-you-are events in Colorado. TINY DECK CONCERT SERIES: LOPEZ & SADLER DUO

Calling all nature lovers! The Fall Birding Festival at Barr Lake is a must for birders, families, and anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
